Ingredients
4tablespoonsButter(melted)
1cupOrganic Unbleached All Purpose Flour
1teaspoonBaking Powder
¼teaspoonBaking Soda
½teaspoonReal Salt
⅔cupButtermilk
1cupSharp Cheddar Cheese(grated)
Garlic Butter Topping
2tablespoonsButter(melted)
Garlic Salt(to taste)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450°.
Melt butter and set aside.
In a a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt).
In a smaller bowl, whisk together the melted butter and buttermilk.
Add the buttermilk mixture to the dry ingredients and stir just until blended. Fold in the shredded cheese. Do not overmix.
Using a small scoop or spoon, drop dough onto a baking pan 1" apart.
Bake at 450° for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
Brush biscuits with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic salt to taste (or use garlic powder and salt).
